Groups & Fellowship at Kenmore Baptist Church

Bible Studies (September to June):

• Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study - 10am at KBC 
  Beginning on Tuesday, September 20 at 10:00 am the Ladies Bible study group will meet to discuss and share what they would like to study this coming year. Laura Parlato is the group facilitator. 
• Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study
  Wednesday Bible study resumes on September 14 at 6:45 pm in the Parlor. This fall, we’ll be studying the Sermon on the Mount. These three chapters in Matthew’s gospel are a concentrated dose of Jesus’ teachings. They include the Beatitudes and the Lord’s Prayer, along with memorable phrases like "where your treasure is….", "judge not….", and "consider the lilies of the field." We’ll try to discover the riches of these chapters as we look at them in depth.  Meets every Wednesday from September to June.
  
• Youth Bible Study - Students 6th-12th grade.  Youth Bible Study will begin on Wednesday September 14. We meet from 6:45-7:30pm. Come and join with us this year for time of sharing and learning together.

Adult Choir

Meets every Wednesday evening in the choir room at 7:30PM from September through June.  More details on Music Notes page.  First practice on September 7, 2011.

CIRCLES
A circle is a small meeting group designed to pursue the purpose and mission statements of the American Baptist Women and provide a time of quality fellowship. Circles are responsible for helping the church meet its American Baptist Mission quotas as well as providing other service projects for the church and the community.  All women are invited to share in a Circle.

Esther-Elizabeth Missionary Circle:
Our Esther-Elizabeth Circle - 3rd Thursday of each month at KBC. Esther-Elizabeth Circle will gather to share summer experiences and seek the Lord's direction for the fall program of providing White Cross help for our missionaries. Also, we hope to enrich the lives of our people who are unable to attend our worship services. Bring a sandwich and join us Thursday noon on February 16th in the room next to the upstairs kitchen. Other refreshments and beverages will be available. Your friendship and helping hands are needed and appreciated.  Marge Keeler.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is alive and knitting away. We would like to get a meeting of knitters and crocheters together monthly to have fellowship and knit/crochet prayer shawls. There are some shawls that Mary Downs knitted and we would like to add to them to give them to a hospital or nursing home. There is yarn and some needles at church for your convenience.

If you can't make a meeting, you can make a shawl at home. We will be meeting on the first Thursday of each month. Our next meeting is going to be in February and the date will be announced shortly.
