Weekly Bible Studies
  • The Tuesday Ladies Bible Study - Lives of Integrity - Words of Prophecy will meet every Tuesday mid-September to June, 10am at the church. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressure to compromise his faith in a hostile culture and was constantly confronted by temptations and threats, today’s believers face similar trials. We are continually bombarded with a culture that wants to desensitize us to sin. We will study the book of Daniel doing a 12 session Beth Moore study. The first portion, from Daniel chapters 1-6, deals with Daniel’s life as he faced the kind of pressures and temptations Christians encounter today. Daniel models how to develop enduring integrity in an enticing world. The second portion, chapters 7-12, explores thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the sec-ond coming of Christ. Boldly live in our modern-day Babylon without falling prey to its allure!

  • Wednesday Evening Bible Study 6:45pm - "Minor" Prophets.  For the fall, we’ll take a quick trip through some of the most under-explored territory in the Old Testament. The last 12 books are often referred to as "minor prophets" which seems to imply "not important" prophets. Not so! The "minor" has to do with shorter length not lower importance. We’ll look at these prophets in a "drive by" format: one book each week, with a look at the original setting, relevant history and major themes. The overall experience will fill out your sense of what the Old Testament is about and see how the stage was set for the coming of Jesus. Join us!
