Library News A GOOD BOOK TO READ If you like to read and are looking for a good Christian novel, I have just the book for you. You can borrow this book which is in the library located in the Church Parlor. “At Home in Mitford” is the first in a series of books authored by Jan Karon. The story is about an Episcopal rector in a small town named Mitford. I highly recommend this book, which has also been enjoyed by Catherine Mallaber and Ruth Kowles, among others. There are a total of 6 books in the series. Keep the circulation going by returning overdue books. When you return books please put them in the container and not on the shelves. Need more information? Ask a member of the Board of Christian Education "Remember the more you Read, the more you know. Support your Church Library.
SUNDAY MORNING ALTAR FLOWERS (From The Decorating Committee) Michael's Florist on Delaware Ave. in Kenmore provides the flowers for our sanctuary. The cost of a single vase will still be $15. Two vases will now be a reduced cost of $25. If you wish to donate fresh flowers, please sign the flower chart on the bulletin board near the small kitchen, and fill out a yellow sheet on the table below the chart. If you wish the flowers to be in memory or in honor of someone, or wish to order anything special (such as certain color flowers) please specify on the sheet. After the worship service, the flowers will be put in a glass vase for you by one of the decorating committee members. You may return the vase to church at your convenience. If you are taking the flowers to the hospital, we have "disposable” containers you can take. Thank you to everyone who donated the flowers last year. They add to the beauty of our sanctuary.
